"With an apathy toward virtuosity, this Seattle band surprised me with their honest intent to have fun and rock out! There is no doubt that they have established themselves as songwriters with catchy guitar hooks resonating back to Big Star and a more recent Catherine Wheel. At first listen, a trained ear may cringe at the sometimes flattening sounds of their main singer Barry, but if you are a fan of The Clash... abrasive melodic pop vocals will be pleasing to your ears! Electrophotoplasm, by far, is the best catchiest rippin song on the album. I am surprised the band did not choose it as their sample track. I recently attended one of their concerts and was impressed to hear their sound rocks even harder live! Tuffy's drummer, Ben, adds great texture and drive... not to mention an entertaining personality. Pulling from their first album entitled "Songs We Know", lead guitarist, Pete, played "Panther" into his amp and roamed the stage creating loose feedback driven overtones. This Seattle band captures indie pop rock in an old fashion punk way."
