"1984's THUNDER SEVEN by Triumph is a rock-solid release that is consistently good from beginning to end. Though it doesn't have the extremely catchy sounds like Fight the Good Fight and Magic Power (from ALLIED FORCES), it nonetheless delivers. This album sounds awesome, technically speaking. The sound is so well-balanced, and it shows flawless production throughout. Every song is excellent, and if I had to pick a favorite, it would be TIME GOES BY, as well as KILLING TIME. COOL DOWN is good, too. It's a song that is a combination of Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi and Fleetwood Mac. The album starts off the right way, with SPELLBOUND, which is a good rocker. This album is tied with ALLIED FORCES as my favorite Triumph album. 10/10"
