Album Description Twisted, Wicked Right Now is a tribute to a band that changed mainstream music. Korn came in at a time when metal was still seen as an `80s relic soaked in spandex and Aqua Net--the kind of music that grunge had permanently nailed into a coffin. The boys from Bakersfield changed all that with their fusion of harsh, muddy metal, phat bottom end, and bare-faced emotion. As Wes Borland described it, Korn had taken something incredibly ugly and turned it into something incredibly beautiful. The artists on this record have taken the heavy-as-hell low end of Korn's songs and reprogrammed them as cacophonous electro-industrial ragers. This descent into digital despair features four new tracks and has been newly re-mastered.
