"Arnold Schwarzenegger once again proves sci-fi thrillers are still with us - but none of this would work without the magnificent score by Trevor Rabin. Cloning is the subject matter and our composer takes on the assignment with no-holds-barred, as you will journey through each cue that is simply riveting.Rabin who gave us - "CON AIR" (1997), "ARMAGEDDON" & "ENEMY OF STATE" (1998), "DEEP BLUE SEA" & "JACK FROST" (1999), "GONE IN 60 SECONDS" & "REMEMBER THE TITANS" (2000), puts this on another level - with "THE 6TH DAY" darker and more subdued mixing rock, electronic and symphonic genres...nice touch, as it suits the films story-line perfectly.Of course highlights - "PLAYING GOD", "THE ROOF TOP", "DRUCKER MEETS DRUCKER" and finally "ADAM GOES HOME" each cue has enough power through percussion, electronic and choral mixes to light up an entire metropolis...as the interwoven theme goes way beyond the max, simply outstanding in structure and awesome in performance.Varese Sarabande and Trevor Rabin have another winner, as their long winning-streak for "movie-music" collectors and "film-score-buffs" continue to amaze every theatre-going fan!Total Time: 39:23 on 14 Tracks...Varese Sarabande 066196...(2000)"

"This Score for the Movie The Sixth Day is a very Entertaining piece of score music composed by artist Trevor Rabin. This score like his previous Armageddon,Enemy Of The State and Gone In Sixty Seconds combines elements of Hard Rock,Electronic Back Beats and Pulse pounding exciting music.A wonderful Jewel of work is Heard in the End Credits song ADAM GOES HOME.This song starts out soft and carries the main theme of the movie along in it and is wonderfully paced. The rest of the songs including CLONING,The 6TH DAY and ADAM'S THEME are truly amazing compositions by Rabin. Some of his most Amazing work to date a great addition to any soundtrack collectioon.5STARS"

"How can I sum up The 6th Day in one review? Trevor Rabin's newest composition for the action, sci - fi film The 6th Day mixes everthing that score fans would come to expect from former Yes - man Rabin - amazing action cues (The Rooftop track comes to mind) and amazing themes, such as Adam's Theme and the loud, complex arrangements heard in Adam Goes Home. This score comes close to being some of Rabin's best work, but comes up a bit short - that's why 4 stars, not 3. After the incredible choral work heard in 1999's Deep Blue Sea, I wonder if Rabin could ever top the emotional level heard in Aftermath(of Deep Blue Sea) Overall, Varese Sarabande needs to produce longer scores, for those of us who like scores longer than 39 minutes!! Deep Blue Sea clocks in at 30 minutes, also on the Varese Sarabande label!! The 6th Day provides the film and the listener a qreat journey through the exciting world of cloning - and Ah-nuld!! Rabin managed to come up with many great ques featuring alot of diferent instruments, reslulting in a great "must - have" album. Thanks Trevor!! If you are a new Rabin discoverer, get this. If you are already a fan of his work, get this. Thanks for reading!!"
