"When people think of Trapeze they generally think of "Medusa" and "You are the Music...We're Just the Band", but this has long been my favorite album. Despite the departure of Glenn Hughes to Deep Purple this still rocks! Mel and Tom Galley together with Dave Holland, who would move to Judas Priest down the road, have an excellent selection of music and lyrics here. Great tracks are "Midnight Flyer", "Turn It On", and "Back Street Love". This is a little different sound than earlier works, but a great breath of fresh air with a driving beat. Try it! You won't regret it."

"my list of most expensive & rare cd's are as follows:
rare earth / live in concert
frank sinatra / she shot em down
savoy brown / savage return
trapeze / hot wire
how sad that these cannot be bot for under 100.00. you would think someone at a record company would notice these things. typical.
this is a great band at what i believe to be their finest hour! post glenn hughes was different to be sure, but if you a fan of music, this is it. it has everything. the guitars are solid, the drumming & bass playing-outstanding, the vocals-soulfull. side one, all in the key of A, just a great non stop rock show. side two, that good brand of 70's funk rock. a really really great album by a band that never got it's props! if you can afford it, buy it!"
Essential Trapeze

"This may not be what TRAPEZE was all about, but this is, by far, the best of their output. I would put this at near the top of the list of stuff that deserves to be re-issued on CD. Most of the album flows from one hard rocking song to the next as if it were a concept piece. Here it once, and these songs will haunt you for years to come."
HARD ROCK WITH A FUNKY EDGE!

"I was just 14 when this album came out in '74 and thankfully I discovered it the following year. Most of the songs have a rough, funky side with great guitar riffs that makes you wanna get up and dance. I would play this LP again and again. One song in particular from this album still haunts me to this day, "Midnight Flyer." It's probably, in my opinion, one of the most funkiest, sensuous, and intense rock songs I've ever heard. It's the ultimate "get down" song for an exotic dancer. Yes, I'm speaking from experience. I'm surprised some hollywood director hasn't used it yet for a movie soundtrack piece. If you have a nice stereo, turn up the volume, and enjoy!"
