"I first heard I never lost my praise on the radio in my car here in town in Washington DC.... I about lost my mind....When I heard Tramaine sangggggging! (Those that are in to True Gospel Music know what I mean when I say Sangggggggggging!) I had to pull on the side of the road... I had to have a praise break.... I put my car in park and got my Shout on!
Tramaine has a true gift from GOD when she sings she leans way back and then sings from the pit of her stomach and you can hear her rage like no other.... I am mad that I missed the Live Recording when she was in the area recording this album.... This album is off the hook.... As a long time fan of Tramaine I been following her for years.... And if you dont have her previous live recording where she does a melody of Changed and Holy one and Praise the name of Jesus. I advice you to pick that one up as well. This is what we call a Diva... I love Yolonda and all the other gospel greats but there is only one Tramaine.... Yes the name says it all!"
Terrific and Majesticaly made and done by Tramaine.

"This CD reflects the 5 year life span of what Tramaine Hawkins went through with the loss of both parents and a lot of in betweens. She sings these songs with the utmost passion as a mezzo-soprano and she has never lost the quality of her richness, power, annoninting, and most of all her love to sing what she has been through and knows about. THIS CD IS NUMBER 10. SHE PULLS OUT ALL THE STOPS AND TELLS OF HER TESTIMONY IN "I NEVER LOST MY PRAISE"
ALL OF HER SONGS ON THIS CD ARE OFF THE CHAIN AS THEY WOULD SAY AND SO MINISTERING TO THE SOUL THAT YOU WILL NOT GET TIRED OF HEARING IT. MY SUGGESTION TO YOU IS TO BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT AND BE BLESSED. Yolanda maybe the rage of this new Contemporary/traditional but no one belts it like Tramaine Hawkins. No one comes close to her annointing and ability to carry you through with her on her journey through the songs she ministers to all of us. Again buy it and stay blessed.

"After reading these reviews, I could not wait to get my cd in the mail. Words could not truly express what an incredible worship experience it has been listening to this live performance. I have been a Tramaine Hawkins fan since her first solo release with "Highway and "Holy One." When you listen to "I Never Lost My Praise" and read the liner notes, you realize the very difficult journey it was to even get this project recorded. I want to say "thank you" Tramaine for not giving up on the vision of recording this project. I have purchased or heard every project she has recorded and I believe this is her most "complete" recording since her last live project "Tramaine Hawkins Live." Everything is on point, from the lead vocals (as usual), the songwriting, the arrangements, the choir backing vocals, and the production work by Kurt Carr, and her son Jamie Hawkins. It's hard for me to pick my favorite selection. Other vocalists may perform great vocal acrobats, however, there is not another female gospel vocalist (as Kurt Carr testifies to on his introduction of Tramaine) who can go from the gritty gospel overdrive of "You Get The Glory" to the pure clear tone of her mezzo-soprano phrasing on "Don't Count Me Out." I smell a future Grammy and Stellar award. It's time Tramaine Hawkins gets her due for the amazing legend she is to gospel music."
