"A great all-round selection of Traffic's music. All but 3 of the first album tracks are there and a generous selection from other albums. And it's remastered, and as with all "Gold" releases, the tracks are in chronological order with info on the particular albums they came from.
Greatest Hits albums are really great though when they include rare tracks previously only available as singles - it's a pity the wonderful "Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush" wasn't included here. You have to buy the first album remaster to get that, and consequently double up on 8 tracks."

"This collection entitled "Traffic Gold" is much more a history of Steve Winwood. With the tracks "I'm a Man", done with the Spencer Davis Group in his teen years, Blind Faith's beautiful "Can't Find My Way Home" and "Presence of the Lord", on into Traffic's "Welcome to the Canteen", "Low Spark of High Heel Boys" and "John Barleycorn" make this a treasure of classic British rock."

"This is a solid collection. For real afficianados, some great songs are missing though, meaning you need to have copies of a few albums like "Traffic" and "Mr. Fantasy". Most of the best are on this CD though."

"I have been a fan of Traffic and Steve Winwood and Dave Mason for a long time and have been looking for this collection for a while. Its everything you could want from Traffic and then some. A good "sister disc" for Steve Winwood fans is the double cd live at Madison Square Garden with Eric Clapton."
