"I bought this CD a year ago. I never tire of listening to it! The selections are melodious and the artists are superb. Although I am a jazz sax lover I find the trombone work of Ian McDougall and the guitar artistry of Oliver Gannon to be on par with the featured artist, Fraser McPherson - certainly one of the sax greats of all time. Some of the outstanding renditions are: Louisiana, Struttin' With Some Barbecue, When it's Sleepy Time Down South and two of McPherson's own compositions - Why Am I Blue and Ol' Bill's Blues. The rendition of the Eubie Blake/ Andy Razaf song "You're Lucky to Me" is guaranteed to lift your spirits. The following numbers, "If You Could See Me Now" and "Dream Of You" will soothe the most jangled nerves."
