"FRESH . . CATCHY . . . FUN . . . INFECTIOUS !!!
I usually listen to music with more complexity to it. I usually listen to music with a darker edge to it. Every once in a while though, something in this vein comes along and grabs hold of me and refuses to let go. Perfect music for pop radio (if this was a perfect world and I actually listened to pop radio). I love the dark stuff, I love the complex stuff ( radiohead, etc. ) , but man do I ever love the TRACK STAR stuff now."
Very nice lo fi indie pop hoopla

"This is very nice lo fi indie pop, if you enjoy that type of music. The reviewers that gave this album poor reviews must really have a grudge against this band, because they're unsound reviews. Yes, everyone's entitled to an opinion, but... c'mon. Give the record a listen and see what you think. Some of the tracks, like Green to Gold, are rather mellow, others break out the lo fi rock, such as Pretty Close to Nothing. The lyrics are pretty good, too. I tend to like the real subtle songs, like Goodbye to the Dream (especially the beginning of said song, though the 'coda' is nice), more than the ones out to make the socks come off. Okay, Something to Do is damn fine, too.Note: Wyatt Cusick plays with the Aislers, another good group.Three stars out of five for this album. It has a very clean sound, the vocals are nice, the music is proficient... but no more stars for this outing, as none of the songs really stuck with me (but they were fine while they played). I would like to see this band live. Come play for me!"
