Toyah enters the realms of Prog Rock

"Musically and lyrically this album is the close cousin of the other Toyah/Fripp collaboration, Sunday All Over the World. While the latter is definitely the brainchild of Fripp and his soon to be pals in King Crimson, Ophelia's Shadow seems to be the perfect marriage of Toyah's Pop Opera style and Fripp's Soundscapes. The pop sensibilities mellow the Proggish nature of Fripp and result in a wonderfully accessible collection of songs. Toyah delivers some of her most interesting Post Punk lyrics to date."
