(5 out of 5 stars)
"This compilation includes songs from their album nr. 5,( "Isolation" ) "Carmen, Endless, Holyanna, Stranger in town", which they do not include on other samplers. On the Toto concerts that I have been at, they have not played songs from that album, nor are they included on their two live-albums. I wonder why. Fergie Frederiksson is a great vocalist who only appears on that album. He was replaced with Joseph Williams for two albums - "Fahrenheit" and "The seventh one".
The compilation includes most of the hits from the first four albums, as well as nearly the last albums. One track - "out of love" - is from the "past to present"-album ( which itself is a sampler with 4 new songs featuring a new vocalist - Jean Michel Byron ) One other song -"going home" is from the "XX" album, which is an anneversary-release of previously unreleased material. ( why doesn`t that album include the B-side "the seventh one", as long as they included the B-side "in a word" ? )
The rest of this compilation is absolutely top-hits of TOTO, and if you don`t have any Toto-albums, this is a great way to get to know why the band is one of the best bands ever.
You will be storing this one close at hand...."
