CD ReviewsRemember this guy - he'll be big! Heather | Winnipeg, Manitoba | 02/10/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "I've seen Tory Cassis twice: once on "Gabereau", a Canadian talk show, and once live. On TV he performed alone with an acoustic guitar and that impressed me enough to go see him live, where he performed with a bass player and drummer. THEN, I bought the CD, and with its full instrumentals have been blown away ever since. Tory's voice is a unique deep blend of his own style, mixed with a smidgeon of Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick, Jr. His songs are thoughtful, funny and touching. He shows musical maturity even though he's quite young. The songs, "Such a Crime" and "Sunrise" are sure to catch on at least on college radio! I recommend this CD with a huge smile and thumbs-up to Tory." Mmm, mmm, good. Jane Doe Eyes | Ontario | 08/31/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "In a word, sexy. In a few more, smooth as satin, mellow, and sure to find at permanent place near your CD player. I had the pleasure of seeing him live in early '99, and I couldn't wait for his album to come out. It was certainly worth the wait, and then some." Sexy and Soulful voice... from Toronto Jhuzen Ketsugo | Toronto, On CANADA | 05/28/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "Tory Cassis's CD is the kind of thing you can't wait to start spinning the moment you walk in the door from a hard days work. The music is fantastic and real... and these songs hit the right spots, we've all been there. "Such a Crime" is a favorite... and guess what ladies, he's a hottie. With a new video running on Canada's Much Music, it'll be no time at all until Tory becomes a household name. I can't wait to catch his act live in the city."
