Keep You Feeling Irie
Radical Habits | WI | 12/28/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Dog Boy (Too Rude's Frontman) will make your entire day feeling irie with his reggae flow that he's entrapped in this album.
Too Rude has been featured in some very well received songs, top of the list would have to be The Kottonmouth King's "Dog's Life". You can find snippets of reggae beats attributed to Too Rude in all of the King's records, Suburban Noize family always shows love to their own.Anyhow, this is an amazing album. Filled with the hip shakin', peaceful messages, and thoughts of good times that only reggae can give you. Dog Boy pulls this all off with show of little effort, which is no small feat. in an industry that doesn't exactly "understand" that racial lines mean nothing when it comes to the basic beats of music... white boy or not, Dog Boy can stand his own and keep the crowd alive with his soul... not fake dreads and joints.Personal Favorite Tracks: "Gunshot", "Drop By", "Burn Kali""

"If you like Sublime and Long Beach Shortbus then hit the button and get this cd. He has his own unique style that should not be missed. Check it out and buy this cd along with the new Long Beach Shortbus CD (great new music from Eric Wilson of Sublime)."

"This is the Best Reggae album I have heard in a long time. With songs like New Sherrif, Connected, and If You Love It they have produced a vibe that can be fealt from coast to coast. You can find Too Rude's influence on a lot of the Kottonmouth King's albums and throughout the Sub-Noize tribe's family of artists.Peace,
~prplkoosh"
