The 411 on 211.....

"It's just a matter of time before people catch on to this 'HOT' new artist! Miss Estes throws together a little Destiny's Child, a little Jill Scott and a little Toni Braxton to come up with a sound all her own. She writes most of her own material, and her most famous achievement to date is her songwriting credit for Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right, But It's Okay".This album is full of slammin tracks as well as cool ballads. The one's that caught my attention the most were the uptempo "HOT", which was released as the first single, "U Don't Got What I Want", which is a downright catchy tune with a clever chant at the chorus, and "I Adore", which would go quite nicely on radio next to current tunes by Jill Scott and Erykah Badu. "She Already" is a very cool ballad that reminds me of some of Toni Braxton's new material. This artist is very talented and versatile and it would be a shame if she doesn't get her props like so many other artists today. Go buy her album, you won't be disappointed!"
This is a great album!!!

"I've had this cd for almost a year and I still listen to it. ....I love "let's chill" , "stupid", "let me know" and "she already". Those songs are deep, presented with a beautiful sensual voice. Toni has great potential and I would love to see her gain more popularity. She deserves it!"
Pretty Good

"I discovered Toni Estes on the "Next Friday" soundtrack and her hit single "Hot" really made me like her. She is a very talented woman and also she wrote for Miss Whitney Houston and has been nominated for a grammy, so you knew she was gonna come correct with her debut album. But did Toni live up to my expectations I had. I believe the intro is kind of corny but the second song titled "Independent Lady" is a very good song it contains a sample from Foxy Brown's song "JOB" and features Lil Zane and was co-written and produced by Teddy Riley this song has a great beat but Toni dosen't sound that great on this song. Other songs to look close for are "I Adore" which is a nice song, "Big Things" which is a great song for people who say there gonna do something with their lives and do it, then there is "Change Of Heart" which is another good song with a good chorus and beat, then theres my favorite song "Lets Chill", I like this song because it's so mellow and soothing it's good if your just sitting there thinking it's a nice relaxing song and Toni sounds nice on this song too. Then of course there is the hit song "Hot" which really makes you wanna dance this is another great song. Songs not worth metioning are "She Already" and "U You Don't Got What I Want" all in all this is your normal r&b music nothing new just a new face and voice to conquere the music scene."
