"This fourteen track release was recorded live at The Bitter End club in New York City on October 22, 1996. Overall sound mix is actually quite good here, I thought. Nicely done live versions of some of the better tunes that ever came out of the late '60's to very early '70's. Cuts like "Draggin' The Line", "Getting Together", "Crimsom And Clover", "Hanky Panky" (no one does it like Tommy), "I Think We're Alone Now" (remember Tiffany's super-lame cover of this tune?), the foot stomper "Mony Mony" and "Sweet Cherry Wine". Some tracks that I just plain don't remember are "Say I Am" (a good tune nonetheless)and "Tighter Tighter". Maybe those are new/er material. Line-up: Tommy James-guitar&vocals, John Golden-guitar, David Santos-bass, Benny Harrison-synth&piano and Glenn Wyka-drums. Good bubble gum rock, but better than MOST other bubble gum artists. Recommended."

"The DVD of this show "Live at the Bitter End" is nothing short of awesome. Tommy James sounds as good, if not BETTER than in his earlier recordings. The band in incredibly tight, and if you liked any one of their songs in the 60's you have to here these renditions of them, they're great. BTW, this is the first review of any music I've ever put in here... I just had to comment on it, it's that good."
