"For me, the fun began at track #3, "A Baba," which shows Ze's sense of humor in the form of a history lesson from the "Head of the Century." Although this cd contains a substantial dose of samba rhythms and other traditional sounds, there are lots of odd touches that probably turned some heads when originally released in the 1970's. The arrangements of acoustic guitars and other stringed instruments are particularly impressive to me. If you are looking for elevator music or some other predictable experience, don't get this. My copy includes printed lyrics for only the "Todos os Olhos" portion. Probably, I would have liked it even more if my Portuguese were better or if all the lyrics were printed."
