Norwegian classic rock

"This is something of a departure in style from their last effort, "Eagle Rock", which had more of a Uriah Heep feel to it. "Loser" surprisingly has a wry, bluesy, funky vibe that is more mindful of the bitter humor coming from bands like Streetwalkers (Family), Groundhogs, Paice,Ashton,Lord, Third WW, and especially Elmer Gantry's Stretch. The hammond bombast of Eagle Rock is gone, although there are several hard driving classic rockers. The lyrical content is again interesting to say the least (and sung in perfect english by limey Roy Robinson, by the way) as track #10 "Don't Turn Around" seems to be written from the perpective of someone who has had a religious experience; but doesn't really sound all that thrilled about it for some reason."
