House legend Jean F. Cochois, aka The Timewriter, possibly one of the most sought after house artists the German deep house scene has brought forward in the last ten years, has left his mark forever on the tech house scene. Having previously produced four absolutely stunning albums: Letters from the Jester, Jigsaw Pieces, Diary of A Lonely Sailor and Paintbox, each of them of had their own distinct quality with tracks of such delicate, honest beauty that they bring people to tears. Songs that will never be forgotten as they, with their timeless spirituality, would turn into genre classics. Time to re-write history: to give his work a new context and to recall some of The Timewriter's finest moments, Plastic City label gave his thumbs-up for Resensed Part One, asking acclaimed musicians and newcomer producers alike to give the already complete masterpieces the Midas "re-touch". The result: a first sequel of remixes now published on Plastic City. As fascinating as the ten original tracks and guaranteed equal appeal to those die-hard The Timewriter fans as well as those who discover him for the very first time.
