To celebrate thirty years of traveling, performing, and writing songs with his Gibson J-45, named Paco during the early years spent as a street musician in Europe, Nashville based songwriter Tim Easton recorded an entire album DIRECT TO LACQUER at The Earnest Tube Studio in Bristol, Virginia. This method of recording leaves no room for manipulation or overdubbing. Each performance was recorded in mono via a portable lathe which cuts the signal directly to a lacquer acetate disc, much the way Jimmie Rodgers or The Carter Family would have made their famous Bristol Sessions. The ten solo acoustic tracks are available on Vinyl, CD, Spotify, iTunes, and traditional streaming services through Campfire Propaganda Records and Books.
