Synopsis
Album Description One of the most sought-after guitar players on the Nashville roots-rock scene, Tim Carroll has performed at SXSW, made over 30 appearances at the Grand Ole Opry, and served as guitar player for Nashville bad boy Lonesome Bob and Warner Nashville artist Elizabeth Cook. Always Tomorrow features 14 stampeding tunes that somehow marry the heartbroken soul of Roger Miller and Hank Williams with the rock `n' roll attitude of Chuck Berry and The Ramones. |
CD ReviewsTim's an incredible talent. Bt | Parts unknown | 07/10/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "This guy's one of the greatest roots rockers out there. Again he shines with his twang rock. An underground legend, the former Gizmos, and Blue Chieftains is a slightly heavier version of Robbie Fulks, and he's a sight to behold. Sassy lyrics, great hooks, and the best damn sense of humor you'll find around, this dude's the best example of what good 'ol straight up rock and roll, mixed with country is all about. His music's been covered by John Prine, Robbie Fulks, & many more. My only wish is that Tim would release more music because there's just not enough musicians like him around anymore. (Tim's new disc "The Devil is a Busy Man" was just released & I have a couple of copies left. Anyone interested drop me a line. I also have a copy of each of his first 2 independent releases "Not for Sale" & "Free Again". I also carry the only known Blue Chieftains cd.)"
