"I am a huge fan of Alpha Blondy and African reggae in general and can say with some authority that this album is BRILLIANT. It's soulful and has lotsa depth. At the same time it's nicely polished and beautifully recorded. Sly and Robbie provide rythm and U-Roy makes an appearance as well. It seems that it's a right of passage for African reggae stars to take a pilgrimige to Kingston, JA in order to record with the greats of the era and pay a certain homage (see Alpha Blondy's Jerusalem - recorded with the Wailers). Now that I've heard this cd I am going to order the rest. Can't wait to see this guy sometime here in North America. Buy this album!"
