CD Reviews

Truly orgazmic electric acid jazz.....
handle123 | 10/30/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This cd made me want to rip my clothes off and go completely insane to the muzac. It's potent, and the intensity will make you want to suit up in bondage gear. My only regret is that the cd didn't come equipped with a blow-up doll. I hate waiting for tkk's new cds to come out (and god, this one seemed like a lifetime thanx to ryko) but this cd is oh-so-worth the waiting. TKK is like a McDonald's hamburger: always juicy, always satisfying."
TKK Grooves On With Classic Sounds...
Eric Johnson | 10/29/1999
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Those who were a little disappointed with "A Crime For All Seasons" can rejoice at the release of this disc, a b-side and remix collection of the "Sexplosion" through "Hit & Run Holiday" eras complete with funky grooves, sleazy samples-- and most important of all-- TKK's trademark blazing synth horn section. This disc doesn't get 5 stars ONLY because the remixes don't take advantage of the hardcore or D&B styles of today's more intense techno "flavors," instead remainingly fixed in a mid-90's sort of dance vibe. (That and there's no remix of "Disko Fleshpot," dammit!) Still, any TKK fan will find the new b-sides wicked fun & worth the price of purchase. And anyone with an appetite for dance beats will find themselves mindlessly dancing around the house with the stereo cranked up in no time. Now groove on, assume the motion..."
Like the jazzy, groovy, dance Kult

"I love the more danceable, jazzy, groovy beats of the Kult rather than their satanic stuff. This is a great one in that vein!"
