"I happen to be listening to this as I type at my PC and figured it was worth a review.
Wonderful stuff all throughout but the Mancini medley is from another planet. It starts with the theme from "Two For The Road", trombone lead accompanied by piano. Then a guitar-led version of Royal Blue, a rarely-performed gem by Mancini. Finally, a solo piano version of Dreamsville, by far the most stunning version of the song I have ever heard. Unlike so many musicians, Don Thompson plays this song very simply, stressing the incredibly lovely chords of the song.
This medley is worth 10 stars, thus the rating."
