"This newest album by Goeff Moore and the Distance is my all time favorite. Not only does it feature the classic rock sound of this talented Christian musician but it is compelling lyrically, if you share Goeff's passion for the lost. It comes through powerfully in songs like "Desperate Men," "Only a Fool," "Scattering," and "Declaration." The Gospel is clearly portrayed in "No Need to Explain." And if you've ever been at the end of your rope, "The Letter" will really hit home. I can't get enough of this album. It's Christian rock at its best!"

"A little "grittier" than their previous albums, "Threads" nonetheless delivers the same sensational, step-on-your-toes messages that got me hooked on Geoff Moore and the Distance. This is hardly their best release (is topped easily by both "Home Run" and "Evolution"), but the more driving rock sound doesn't spoil the lyrics. My favorite track is "Scattering"--great one-word motto for all Christians to adopt! Turn up the bass and prepare for another awesome journey guided by some talented artists--and some passionate men of faith."

"In my experience, "Threads" has been the rare kind of CD that uplifts and energizes both musically and spiritually. "In Betweens", "Desparate Men", "Threads", "Only A Fool", "Running To You"... all move me to worship God and motivate me to live out the Christian life more faithfully. One of my favorite CD's."
