"He's whimsical, ironic, witty, poetic and he tells wonderful stories. The music focuses more on the electric guitar/bass/drum trio than previous CDs, and the catchy songs stay with you. I constantly find myself humming them and laughing throughout the day. The duet with Marie Trintignant on Piece Montee des Grand Jours is an exquisite romp around food and prison escape."
