Forefront's New Breakthrough Band

"Ever since I heard the single "Casting Off," I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this album. I must say that I am very impressed. Of course like most albums, there are a few songs that I don't really care for, but overall, I think this is a great debut album, especially for a Forefront band. For those of you who don't know, Forefront is the record label for artists, such as Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, Rebecca St. James, and Toby Mac. Back in the 90's, they were one of the top Christian record labels. Since then, their artist roster has decreased and other Christian record labels, such as Tooth and Nail and Flicker records have taken over. However, I believe Forefront is going to make it's way back to the top again. Adding This Beautiful Republic to their roster was a much needed move. And to be honest, I was surprised that they took on a band with such an edgy style. In the past, Forefront have leaned toward the Christian Contemporary side of the market. It will be interesting to see what they are going to do next. I think This Beautiful Republic is a just glimpse of what's to come for Forefront!

"I'm not sure I've ever heard a cd quite like this. Even Heroes Need A Parachute blows me away from start to finish. Talent like this is not commonly found. Every song has such great meaning, and they're so easy to relate to. It simply is amazing. I highly recommend this cd to anyone!"
