Thin Lizard Dawn-Quite simply Rocks

(5 out of 5 stars)
"Take a little bit of Pete Townsendesque "Who" song structure add some Beatles Vocal Harmonies and throw in some of that punk kick your Butt and Rock you out Foo Fighters attitude and youve got a band I recently and joyfully discovered,Thin lizard Dawn. I dont understand what some reviewers found "formulaic" about this album Quite the contrary I found it pretty non conformist and Like a breath of fresh air I dont think there is any "Pop" in this record at all, TLD's rythms swerve and and dive like a Paper Bag caught in a whirwind, Overall I'd say GET THIS ALBUM, Ive been playing it non stop for two weeks now, best of all theres a hidden track thats just awesome, an entertaining album from a creative bunch of fellas."

"I currently own both of Thin Lizard Dawn's albums and the Sexual Dynamo "single", and I have two things to say about them:1) I suggest you buy both caus' one is not nearly enough to go around!! (It is worth the 25 cents you will pay for both!)2) As stated before, they are catchy and hard to put down and I consider them to be one of the greatest bands in my collection. Once again, the price of these CDs is outragously low! Buy them up quickly!"

"Thin Lizard Dawn has an inventive sound unlike any other band in the music scene. Their melodic hooks and catchy riffs make them distinct from any other band. Thin Lizard Dawn's trippy harmonics are Beatle's like ballads with a twist of Blur and a dash of Electric Light Orchestra, making their music solid and confident."

"This CD rules! Get it if you see it. I found three copies at a used record store for a buck each. The second cd isn't worth getting though- too much of the same rock beats- none of the inventive beats and harmonies of the first cd. It's called Go- don't get it."
