Upbeat melodic punk rock

"2008's Too Late to Die Young is the fourth full-length album from Norwegian band Wonderfools. Similar to their fellow Scandinavians Millencolin (from Sweden), Wonderfools plays a highly melodic, pop-oriented brand of punk rock largely devoid of the anger and aggression one normally associates with punk music. Ah, who needs angst anyway? Wonderfools' music is upbeat, infectious, and brings to mind the best elements of Welt, Millencolin, and early Green Day - and that's definitely a good thing in my book.
If you're a fan of melodic, not too serious, pop-punk rock, you should pick up a copy of Too Late to Die Young. If nothing else, it shatters the myth that all music coming out of Norway has to be grim and evil.
