"I acquired this CD from a friend who's a friend of the band. On my first listen, I was pleasantly surprised to hear some great musicianship from this Alaskan alt-country/jam band. They've been together for a few years and have had their share of local bar and club dates under their belts.

The vibe of this record is that of a very laid back bar band. If you like Neil Young, Phish, Grateful Dead, you'll like the Whipsaws. The songs are good, as are the vocals, although it may lag in spots. But you have to consider that this record was recorded a while ago, and they've added more songs and experience to their set list since then."
