As two of Copenhagen's finest rock'n'roll combos broke up - The Burnouts and The Jetsons - it unleashed three untamed spirits that didn't know when to stop in July 2002. Before even rehearsing, or finding a name for the band they convinced a poor record label owner to release their debut single "Let's Groove" (International Garbageman). After about a year of playing jobs, where long haired garagerockers and tattooed greasers alike would rock with the Untamed, they were ready to release their debut almbum "Eeire Stories" (HepTown Records 2003) Of course there was a time when these rocksters were innocent and pure at heart...but during a mission down in deep dark Africa many years ago our three heroes in deep dark Africa many years ago our three heroes lost their souls due to the evil witchdoctor Papa Bumwallah. He put his terrible spell on the innocent fellas and thereby forever condemned them to tear out their sacred hearts for rock'n'roll. Never shall they ever again listen to- or play anything else but the stripped down rock'n'roll with a fuzzed up punk attitude inspired by many sources like The Cramps, anyting that includes the "Bo Diddley beat2 and other trashy back-to-basics 50's & 60's rock'n'punk rebellious and playful obscurities that The Untamed love so much!
