"If you have an interest in well written and well performed progressive rock, then this album is for you. Take a chance on T3E, and you'll most certainly be glad that you did. This one gets regular rotation in my cd player. Great music, and very unique packaging!"
Subtle Prog for fans of Spock's Beard and Porcupine Tree

"The Third Ending aren't a million-note band. They can play, make no mistake. But they aren't one to dazzle you with scales and unisons. Rather, they let emotional impact fill in that gap.
Their songs are crafted carefully, the lyrics polished. Their singer sounds a lot like Neal Morse (formerly of Spock's Beard) circa 1998, and the 28-minute suite "Fingerprints" (encompassing tracks 5-11) gives the listener more of that Spock's Beard feel.
The shorter songs that open the album remind me more of Porcupine Tree circa "Lightbulb Sun". Not bombastic, but rather reserved and maybe a little brooding. Great, great mood music. The instrumental "Tungsten Blues" is their heaviest song, closer to Dream Theater's "Hell's Kitchen" only with a little more energy to it.
In short, the album has dynamics, both sonic and emotional. It was without a doubt my favorite CD of 2007, and it may just be your uncovered gem of 2008."
