Inspired by the jazz traditions of spontaneity, innovation and improvisation, The Sea Turtles move from moody romance, to quirky sci-fi, to jazzy surf, funk and swing - having fun all the while and certainly with no fear of tempo, reverb and maybe even throwing down a little avant-garde on top. They like putting themselves in situations where there are musical challenges and chances to be taken; playing primarily original instrumental songs. The Sea Turtles ride each others individual ideas throughout the songs but somehow know where they are going - and end up with a tight uplifting jazzadelic vibe that's ultimately unique and fun to listen to.
