"I was awaiting this album since the release of 2007's Prey for Eyes which I thoroughly enjoyed but I felt lacked muscle, and ultimately was slogged down by it's own production, rendering it a slick and fast but forgettable enterprise. While some of those songs had memorable hooks, (Send the Death Storm, Bone Needle, and the Genghis Tron like, It Came From Over There) most songs blurred around the edges and didn't stand up to the sheer ferocity of their earlier works, "Clients", or F"used Together in Revolving Doors". What "Fed Through The Teeth Machine" does right is what "Prey" did wrong. The production is deep and filled with bone rattling low end, provided with expert skill by bassist Greg Weeks, who plays a counterpoint to the guitar melodies and thunders in unison with the drums. Guy's voice is also allowed that deep guttural brutality that saw so much play on "Clients" but was mostly shelved in "Prey". The songs aren't fast for the sake of fast, they move progressively with each song and breath with a lot more open, hardcore-like space. "Gunface" keeps proving that he writes some of the best riffs and songs in extreme metal and is only hindered by the lack of a second guitarist a few times. If you are like one of the tools in the band Paradise Lost who compared the guitar playing to Steve Vai coming into a brutal death metal song, all I can say is that I like interesting and challenging guitar riffs; not boring, trite, and worn death metal standards. Seriously how many Autopsy and Suffocation riffs can you hear recycled before you want something different. The drumming is solid, top-notch, death/core pummeling, not as proficient as Behemoth but certainly better than As I Lay Dying. Some tracks,(Demoralizer, The Ugliest Tuth) make you realize that if they wanted to, they could be the heaviest/scariest/broooootalist band on earth. Guy Kozowyk; not enough can be said about his dynamic roaring and lyrics. He is the best front man in the game, and proves his adept lyricism with tracks like Hour of Rats, or Fix Your Face. All in all, "Fed Through the Teeth Machine" is an exercise in advanced extreme metal. It can be heavier than most death metal, groovier than most grind-core, and tougher than any Hard-core. Psychotic, Frightening, Menacing, and Haunting all at the same time, The Red Chord's new slab is a beast! Enjoy!"
Brutality Incarnate

"I am proud to write the first review of this album. Let me start by saying I have not been disappointed by a release from The Red Chord yet and Fed Through the Teeth Machine is no exception. I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this album for months. With an album title like that, how could it have been bad? I saw Prey for a Eyes as a bit of a return to form after the more straightforward Clients. With this new release, The Red Chord have really nailed exactly what they should sound like: frenzied tempo changes, brutal grooves and relentless lyrics and vocals. This is their most satisfying release yet. I feel like slam dancing and kicking valuables in my living room listening to this. Get it and enjoy."

"In just a little over 35 minutes, death metal/ grindcore band The Red Chord proves how amazing they are on "Fed Through The Teeth Machine". Brutal vocals that never lose their intensity, insane, crunchy, heavy guitar riff after guitar riff, some BLAZING guitar solos, and inhuman drumming, particularly on the double bass drum. None of the songs are too long, and that highlights the fact that all of these songs are interesting and keep you listening. In this case, having short songs works, because nothing is ever drawn out. Sure, this may be a short album but every second is plenty interesting and will have you wanting more from this band. Well, that about wraps up this review. For a great, new extreme metal album "Fed Through The Teeth Machine" gives us an amazing set of songs that will have you banging your head until the sun rises! Thanks for the time, and and peace."
Furious, Technical Metal Barrage

"After becoming addicted to The Red Chord's excellent previous alubm, "Prey For Eyes", I anxiously awaited their next release, and with "Fed Through The Teeth Machine", I am certainly not disappointed. Red Chord's style of metal is hard for any metalhead not to like....basically, they stack riff after riff on top of each other, building intricate song structures full of off-kilter tempo shifts and progressive tendencies without being so over the top it becomes a convoluted mess, like some of the more "tech-metal" oriented bands. It bumps up right against the edge of being technical death metal without losing the groove or the heaviness. Very good playing throughout,an occasional melodic touch and excellent guitar solos without the mindless wankery. Highly recommended."
