It goes like this: Like many family trees ours is tangled and subject to the seasons- but with strong roots. It started with Mingo Lodge (Serf Cowboys and Big Boss Sausage) and Sam Magill (Thkind) recording their debut album- Acoustic Sausage, "Which Came 1st?". The boys toured the east coast relentlessly and morphed into Big Boss Sausage and The Pacifist of Fury and released their 2nd album entitled," Big Boss Sausage and The Pacifist of Fury". Considerable touring ensued. In the meantime, Sam formed The Pacifists of Fury and released their debut album- "Battle Hymns, Vol. 1". The Fury is due to release their 2nd CD- "The Long Slow Distance", in November 2009. Currently, Mingo and Sam are joining forces for a 2 man-1 van western tour. The barnyard dogs of rock and roll are going door to door and shore to shore with their unique brand of hillbilly hijinx. These boys could show up anywhere- anytime with a couple of guitars and a truckload of original music. Big Boss Sausage and The Pacifist of Fury are living their dream and hoping you'll become a part of it.
