Smooth Jazz Transitor, Volume Two is the brainchild of the Neutrinos, the brillaint synth collective out of Oregon. Formed at the University of Oregon in the early part of this century, the group delivers original sounds and methods of looking at music within the smooth jazz genre. Experimenting with the various sounds their instruments can make, the group enters a unique musical territory. The leader of the collective, one Parker Johnston III, says " Smooth Jazz gives us the structure that we need to release commercially viable records - it enables us to make a living doing what we love. Without the structure, it would all be so much noise."
