Old School is back

"In the dying years of the Skid Row/Motley Crue Era of glam rock, semi heavy metal I watched in horror as many bands jumped on the bandwagon of the latest genre. This band along with others (Crooked X) are bringing back dirty, hard hitting rock. You can hear the words, the message is clear and us old heads that are tiring of the new heavy metal growling are in awe of the next generation not only taking up the torch, but rocking as hard as any band that represented this genre of music."
Awesome sleazy rock

"If you're someone who enjoys bands like Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Buckcherry or AC/DC you should love this album. It's sleazy and catchy and you'll be banging your head throughout, and there is even a good ballad, "Apologize". This is an up and coming band that I think will be capturing people's attention after this release."
Turn it up!

"Sleazy guitar driven rock-n-roll massacre. Rock it loud and with the windows down. Rock is alive and well. Move over pretty boy pop... the Last Vegas are here to steal your pretty young ones. Long live the rockers and rollers!"
Rock n' Roll Revival

"2009's Whatever Gets You Off is the third album from hard rockers The Last Vegas, and looks to be the one that breaks through and gives the band the wider audience their music deserves. How do you describe a band like this? Classic rock makes them sound like anything but the brash young upstarts they are, and tags like glam rock and hair metal don't fit either. How about this - they're a rock n' roll band that remembers how to have fun.
The Last Vegas has a great, old school rock sound that draws from AC/DC and Aerosmith as well as Motley Crue and Guns n' Roses. They're the band that tears down the local club with riotous songs about drinking and debauchery and then steals the girlfriends of the sensitive "rock" guys trying to be the next Coldplay. Song titles like "High Class Trash", "Dirty Things You Do" and "Cherry Red" tell you exactly what to expect from Whatever Gets You Off, and if those sound good to you, you're in good company. Oh, and the soulful slow song "Apologize" could have come directly from a Tesla record. Beautiful.
You wouldn't know it from the inane stuff that gets played on mainstream rock radio, but this is a great time to be a rock n' roll fan. Bands like Airbourne, Charm City Devils and The Last Vegas (not to mention the European bands Hardcore Superstar, Crashdiet and the Poodles) are flying the hard rock flag that was dropped when grunge took over, and they're doing it with great style and energy. If you like your rock fun, you'll want to check out Whatever Gets You Off.

"Just short and sweet. I happen to be a man that likes his music to be hard rock heavy, and it is getting harder and harder to find a band that just wants to get sleazy and Rock and Roll. These guys aren't afraid of a little dirt. As I said, Thanks!"
