Album Description

The Kingston Trio was the most popular band in the United States from 1958 through 1963. The group released twenty-seven albums, the first seventeen of which reached the Top Twenty, fourteen making it to the Top Ten. The trio captured the spirit of the times and spawned a folk music revival leading directly to the success of folk acts like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Peter, Paul & Mary. Features EIGHT CHART HITS, including the GRAMMY AWARD-winning #1 classic "Tom Dooley."
