"I wasn't completely sure of what to expect of this album, but going off only what people said about it in these reviews I bought it, hoping for something fresh, new, and cool to listen to, I can say I got exactly what I wanted. The instruments are used in very creative ways, and the vocals go right with it, making for a great album.
After repeated listenings, I like it better each time I hear it. The sounds of the brilliantly played instruments and catchy songs help it never seem to get old. I would recommend this CD to anyone looking for something a little bit different, and if you're not, still get the CD. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what comes from your speakers."

"Something about that wa wa guitar that lifts these heart felt rifts to a special place in the ear. In the pop alternative sky filled with the dark clouds of seriously dreary and depressed music, the harmonica pocket is that ray of sunshine poking thru to spread a soft and golden glow upon the soul. A great cd to listen to that's not too heavy but very filling. A satisfying treat. Creative use of instruments and that very distinct Harmonica Pocket wa wa guitar, along with the wonderfully wrought lyrics give this very successful debut album a sound all its own. Give it whirl in your cd player and you'll be hooked, too!"
Let's keep it at 5 stars, shall we?

"This is an amazing CD, certainly worthy of the nine users that gave it a solid 5 stars.
Great, catchy pop hooks and cool lyrics.
As a percussionist, I have a fond appreciation for the great rhythm that lays smoothly beside the very talented Keeth Apgar's vocals and guitar.
If you're not into great, soulful music, don't even think about buying this record."
Underneath your umbrella, on top of the rest of your CDs...

"I listen to a lot of music. Since putting Harmonica Pocket in my player, it hasn't come out. Simply put, Keeth's music creates a magical aura through melody and harmony. The unique combinations of guitar, voice, congas, African thumb pianos, Australian dijeridoos (complements to Aaron Straight) and even some "beat boxing" (Almost Sara Chestnut)weave a tapestry of sound that flows easily from fun poppy riffs to deep rhythmic grooves to soothing, melodious harmonies. It's a CD that you pick something new up from each time you hear it. A cool, sub-harmony or instrument you didn't notice before, like recordings of trains coming through town or raindrops. This CD gets better each time you hear it. It's a refreshing, unique recipe using the true ingredients that make excellent music. BUY THIS DISK!!!"
