CD Reviews

A great CD!
Ti Lilly | Indiana, USA | 06/02/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The music and Mia's powerful vocals made this band! Infact Mia was such a great singer, after she die the rest of the band could not replace her. There is no one out there that can sound like this band! They had their own sound. Later Joan Jett sing many gits songs in the short lived band evil stig, but not even she could not reach the leavel Mia could."
Hot damn

"I heard mention of The Gits awhile ago but didn't realize their true talent until recently when I revisited this CD. I am very excited to see the documentary as well. This CD is a good listen all the way through, a rare achievement for most any band. Mia's voice recalls Courtney Love with a little Beth Ditto during slower songs. The actual music brings to mind early Nirvana. My favorite songs are Bob and I'm Lou. An amazing band cut down early on, but at least we got to witness this CD. A true treasure ranking right up there with L7."
