Musically, it is a truly fine city with plenty of history and character. This album was supposed to be a out a long time ago (a LONG time ago). It is really a treat for the fans who have gone to the shows to hear these great songs because now they can have them to play at home. This is especially true for me, since I no longer have the ability to see shows in Detroit :*-( For those who have yet to hear of the Fags, you're also in for a treat. Their sound reminds me the most of Cheap Trick; they write very well crafted songs, but also maintain enough of a rough edge that really keeps this from falling into the category of soulless corporate crap rock. My favorite song has become 'Rockstar', but again, they write good songs, so enjoy every moment of it." Good things come to those who wait....... D.
