On Tour With Butch Walker Now!

(5 out of 5 stars)
"I saw these guys last night, as an opening act for Butch Walker (Butch even ran out to sing a few lines of a song...cool...), and they knocked me out. Cheap Trick/ Springfield/ Knack straight out rock with GREAT musicianship, songs, and vocals. The CD rocks, but I recommend you see 'em live IMMEDIATELY. It's even better. I bought 4 copies of this just to send to friends, and I can't wait to hear a full-length."
Detroit Powerpop

"Some of my favorite powerpop bands (The Romantics, Bazooka Jones, The Fags) come from Detroit. In a town that is known for its gritty, rock and roll it's nice to hear something with a bit more hook to it. This is a brilliant CD in the Cheap Trick tradition. Solid songcrafting and good musicianship will keep it firmly planted in your brain."
A must buy

"The Fags just wrapped up a may tour as an opening act for Butch Walker. I was at the Raleigh show and was blown away by their talent and stage presence!
This EP is worth the buy. I loved them so much I made an extra trip to see them and Butch in Nashville. You won't regret buying this.
Their website is www.thefagsmusic.net"
Their new CD is much better!

"I bought this EP last year and thought it was pretty good, but nowhere near the quality of their Hoarse - "Happens Twice" album from 1997. I just went looking to see if there was a new album out by The Fags and stumbled across their MySpace page. Their new album came out on July 25, 2006, and is available only on iTunes currently. And it is as incredible as the Hoarse album -- Highly recommended!"
Buy This. Now.

"In some parallel universe the hip kids try to separate themselves from the Johnny-Come-Latelys by sneering that THEY knew the Fags when they just had an EP. Because in that parallel universe the Fags are gods with a string of hit singles, magazine covers, the inevitable backlash, etc.
In this universe, unfortunately, none of that's true. But you can still buy a little piece of punked-up power-pop heaven. "Truly, Truly" alone is worth the price of admission. The first time you hear it, you're thrilled because you've found the latest perfect three-and-a-half-minute song. The 100th time you hear it, you're still thrilled."
