"Great soundtrack - reminded me of being a little kid (especially the Eagles song, "Take It Easy")and going to rockin' backyard barbecues where I'd steal sips of beer. Classic conglomeration of all the early '70s faves. Such a universal appeal - kids, even though it may feel like you're rummaging through your parents record collection, all of these songs transcend their time periods. I remember singing along to "Free Bird" in the back of a Camero long after the song (and the car!) was in style. Get this soundtrack, and go see the movie, too - it's kind of a chick flick disguised as a guy flick - which means that everyone will like it."
Hats off!

"I haven't even bought the CD or seen the movie yet, but once I saw the music line-up, I couldn't believe such a fantastic compilation of songs had been put together. There's not a bad song on the CD. In fact, they're time-tested and lasting favorites."
Sadly, Not Available As an Eight Track

"I grew up a disco kid, and I was always in awe of the kids who fixed up their hotrods in their driveways...and this music was what was blaring out of them. Sort of an early 70's classic rock primer (plus "Band on the Run", which isn't really rocking, but still a good song). Either you know all this stuff and want it, or you don't and you don't."
After 30 YEARS, I get it ALL! Thank you!

""Dancin' In the Moonlight" is MY song! I've waited so long to get this one hit wonder song on a good compilation album. In fact, I ordered it because it was on this one! This song has always screamed "happy" and taken me back to a favorite time in my life (one not filled with anyone in particular, but just singular happy moments and dreams of what "might be"). Of course, I know all of the other hits too. This album runs the gamut from my early teens right through my college years. I remember dancing to all of these at many a frat party. Incredible grouping of some fantastic songs! I'm sending this one to my best friend. Won't HE be surprised? Man, this one REALLY takes me back......and back.....and back........shhhhh.....gotta go dance now! (BIG GRIN!)"
