"With a career that started some sixty-eight years ago,.. Ira Tucker is a living singing wonder of a man. Not many can sing with the conviction of this Gospel music icon. The Birds have done it with everyone from Paul Simon to God knows who. You can't go wrong with the Dixie Hummingbirds latest cd, "Still Keeping It Real". The classic sound is there. The project is well sequenced,.. for continued play from track one through track ten. My favorites,. tracks 2 Wonderful To Be Alive, Ira's testimony,.. track 4 Farther Alone.. the lead on this one sounds like the Temption's late great..Melvin Franklin,..track 5 Personal Jesus Uptempo,.track 8 Love Your Fellow Man, and track 10 Don't Let Me Fail.

Awesome job by the man who created the black division of Word Records back in the day, James Bullard of MCG Records of Atlanta, Ga.
