"I really didn't know too much about The Dayton Family, I heard them on a few songs and liked them and saw this album had many good reviews so I checked it out, and needless to say I will be getting some of their other albums. Bootleg & Shoestring, with some rapping by Ghetto E and Baccstabber (who was in prison) hold down the album very nicely and deliver real street hardcore rap, not that watered down radio/video BS that's all over nowadays. With 13 songs, 3 are almost classics, 4 are ok, the other 6 are tight songs. Guests rap on 1 song and do the hook on about half of them, Steve Pitts nicely produces the whole album, with some Co-Production from the Dayton Family. A must have album for fans of real rap.
