"Although the Cr?xshadows are among my favourite bands, I have never enjoyed any releases of theirs upon the first hearing. It's always taken two listenings to get to the eventual state of adoration. I think it's quite possible that this is true for other fans or even first-time listeners of the band- If you're not completely enamoured of Frozen Embers by the third listening, you most likely will feel the same about the other albums. This was my first of their CDs, an esteemed member of my CD rack, and a learning experience. You can't always judge a CD by hearing it once."
