"It seems like a long wait for the new Cranberries' album (Wake Up And Smell The Coffee) and the new single (Analyse), but it was most definitely the wait! The brand, spanking new single, 'Analyse' glimmers, shines, and rocks with beauty!
The Cranberries have certainly chosen a darling of a single for their new album.
The song echos with chiming, jangling guitar riffs by Noel Hogan. A steady, catchy bassline by Noel's bro, Mike. Impressive rythmn playing by drummer Fergal Lawlor. And...of course, the lovely, lush and quite sexy vocals of Dolores O' Riordan will mellow out your soul and melt your heart (as she sings that analysing will "paralyse our evolution"). All this makes 'Analyse' a sensual melody. This song is an instant Cranberries' classic!
The single for 'Analyse'(in which some copies would contain superb live tracks of 'I Can't Be With You' and 'In The Ghetto') is definitely a must buy for a Cranberries' fan, even if you're just a casual fan. Like the lovely lads of U2 did with 'Beautiful Day,' the Cranberries have made 'Analyse' a new-age, soul-cleansing hymn. Just hearing this song only makes me anticipate 'Wake Up And Smell The Coffee' even more! It would make you imagine what the other 12 tracks will sound like. I'm sure they'll all be very excellent! In result, the Cranberries' 'Analyse' WILL be a great addition to anybody Cranberries' CD collection! It rocks!"
