"I merely listened to the sample songs and can tell you that none of them feature the Clancy Brothers, nor Tommy Makem! Maybe some of the other songs do, but the samples surely do not! Caveat Emptor! Let the buyer beware!"

"Here's a clue - If a Clancey Brothers album lists "The Croppy Boy" as "The Croppy Box", run away. I don't know where this started, but it persists on rip-off and rips of rips. The first tracks are some horribly orchestrated cuts with some awful Dennis Day impersonator, and the Clancy tracks sound like they were copied from a mono system using a dictaphone. This is awful, it is hideous, no Irishman can tolerate it, even if he is drunk. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK."

"These people must be on drugs-who is that singing because it sure is NOT the Clancy Brothers-definitely do not buy this one if your looking for great Irish music."

He liked it. So I listened and said to myself, "Boy, this really is bad!" Who were these imposters? The album notes didn't offer any hints, but it certainly wasn't the Clancys. Sounded more like those Jurys Hotel Irish Revues they drag through Boston every March to play for the Irish American Q Tips. But then after 9 or 10 cuts, the Clancys kicked in all was well. Apparently they took the schlock and added to the front end of an old Clancys/Makem album. For the money it was a fair deal, but I wish I could erase those rancid cuts at the start. The album producer should be ashamed of himself for the blatant ...."
