After releasing their debut album "Henry Street Soul" back in 2001, The Chesterfields have been touring and recieving wild praise from critics (like Billboard magazine) and musicians (such as Dr.John and Rob Thomas) as a revolutionary sound in american music. Fusing R&B, Soul, Rock, Jazz and Blues, the band contiues to push their creative boundaries with this brand new effort. The Chesterfields brand new EP is a taste of their full length sophmore effort that is currently in the making, comprised of new original material. These tracks feature The Chesterfields: Scott Sharrard (lead and backing vocals, electric and acoustic guitars and b-3 organ) and Sean Dixon (electric bass, and key's). This release also features special guests; Charlie Drayton on drums (B-52's, Chaka Khan, Keith Richards), Brian Charette on B-3 organ and key's (Joni Mitchell, Lou Donaldson) and Jim Dooley (master film score arranger for Hans Zimmer and many others) doing synth/string arrangements on track 2. Mixing master Charlie Martinez ( Keith Richards, Rob Thomas, Mick Jagger) rounds out the creative team as co-producer and engineer.
