The six song, self-titled CD by the Bleachers contemplates themes of longing, desire, regret, and ambition. Powered only by acoustic guitar and ambient background textures, each song is immediately identifiable from one another due to the tremendous D.I.Y. production and introspective songwriting from Joe Maloney and Marco Brizuela. From the odd-time signature of "Quiet," to the melodic, anachronistic pop of "Counterfeit," The Bleachers have crafted an album which reveals more with each subsequent listen.
