Product DescriptionIndie/alternative rockers, the April Skies, originally formed in 1989. Led in numerous incarnations by guitarist/vocalist Jake Crawford, the band gained some notoriety in the early 90s with regular appearances at NYC's CBGB's and DC's 930 Club and prospects of a major label deal. After a mid-90s hiatus, the band continues to issue release after release and shows no sign of slowing down. Their newest release features the band at their most creative and displays their influences (U2, The Cure, r.e.m., and Echo & The Bunnymen) while remaining current and relevant with today's music. With their very own brand of indie rock homegrown in the heart of Pennsylvania with hard work and years of sacrifice, they have endeared themselves to legions of fans up and down the east coast and that fan base is rapidly spreading across the U.S.
